REMOVE VIETNAMESE KEYBOARD LAYOUT ON WINDOWS 10
When installing or updating Windows, the system will automatically locate us in Vietnam, so it will automatically add Vietnamese percussion in the Language bar. This will make it difficult when we play games, manipulate Photoshop, or it may conflict with other percussion we prefer to use like Unikey… Therefore, our advice is to DELETE IT FOREVER FROM WINDOWS.
Please follow the 3 steps below:
WAY 1
STEP 1: Open Regedit with the key combination: Win+R, enter regedit, Enter.
STEP 2: Navigate to the Vietnamese directory by following this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layouts\0000042a
STEP 3: Strongly press Delete to DELETE IT.
This has no effect on the operation of the computer, and can be applied to other languages, so don’t hesitate!
WAY 2
– Win+R > Enter “cmd”
– Right click on the Command Prompt app and select “Run as administrators””
reg delete “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layouts\0000042a” /f
After deleting it, it is permanently gone from your Windows, however, there may be some cache remaining, you try to change the language a few times with Win + Space, or it is best to reboot the computer, make sure you will never see it again until the next Windows installation.
It is best to save the link in a file, or you can bookmark this article on your browser so you can use it next time.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layouts\0000042a
